Adult beginners

"The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago. The second best time is now"

There are many benefits to learning music as a child, but there are also pros to starting as an adult. For one, you already have solid background knowledge, so we don't need to spend as long on many early concepts.

Do you know your alphabet? Can you count to 8? Do you have the fine motor skills to hold a pencil? You're on a great start to be playing music!

Another benefit is that you bring your whole lived experience to lessons. This means more emotions to draw from and past knowledge to connect to. We're not limited to saying "happy" vs "sad" because you know words like "despair" and "joyfully".

When you know why you want lessons and what you hope to achieve, it is much easier for us to guide you towards your goals and provide motivation along the way. (Don't worry if you don't have solid goals either. We're great at helping you find your joy in music)

Let this be the sign to start lessons now. We would love to work with you!
